Yorkshire and The Humber Section Inaugural AGM

The Inaugural AGM of the Yorkshire and The Humber Section will be followed by a discussion workshop on 'Bat Survey For Trees - Towards a British Standard'

The timetable for the evening is as folllows:

5.30pm - 6pm Finger Buffet

6pm - 6.30pm AGM

6.30pm - 9pm 'Bat Survey for Trees - Towards a British Standard'

There is a draft British Standard being considered on the topic of bat survey in trees and this meeting aims to input to the development of this Standard through consideration of our survey experience in the field.

Participants will be encouraged to share their interpretation of the current guidance and experiences of surveying trees for bats in relation to development, sharing examples of good practice.

The meeting will also be a forum for practitioners to explore more general experiences of the BCT 2012 Bat Survey Guidelines and to highlight key areas where the guidelines could be refined.
