CIEEM has two types of Member Network:
Each is run by a committee of members for the benefit of other members, providing opportunities to network, share knowledge and learn more about the science and practice of our profession. There is also a role to play in promoting professional standards, feeding into consultations and representing the views of members at a local, national and international level.
Throughout the year Member Network committees will run events such as workshops and field trips, as well as taking part in other activities such as careers fairs and policy engagement. Occasionally they may also hold a larger conference or seminar.
These events are often low cost or free and are organised and run by the volunteers on the committee. They may be open to members only, though some may be open to non-members as well and most will count towards your structured CPD requirement.
