Royal Charter Application

Following the historic EGM held on 13 June 2012 at which members approved a proposal for the Institute to petition for a Royal Charter, the President, Professor Penny Anderson CEnv FIEEM and Vice President, Robin Buxton CEnv FIEEM, formally signed the Petition during the Institute’s 21st anniversary reception and Medal presentation at the House of Lords on the 28th June.
The Petition, together with the accompanying Royal Charter and Bylaws, has now been submitted to the Privy Council and we await the outcome in due course.
