Behind the Scenes at the Natural History Museum

South East England Section AGM 2016

13 February, London

The South East Section AGM was held during the 'Behind the Scenes' event at the Natural History Museum, London.  The day began with an introduction to the Museum, including an interesting illustrated account of its history, by Stephanie West.

This was followed by the formal AGM which, after the annual reports, plans for the coming year and election results, ended with lively discussion about the role of CIEEM and particularly the relevance to managers.  Those attending then split into two groups for tours of the Wildlfie Garden, a unique biodiversity resource in Central London, conducted by Caroline Ware, and a visit to the Angela Marmott Centre led by Steph West. A very interesting and informative event.
