BS42020 Biodiversity: Code of Practice for Planning and Development

This training is aimed at ecologists with at least 3 years of experience and will introduce them to the purpose and content of BS42020 and how it can be applied practically within the planning system. With sessions led by Mike Oxford, Chair of BSI's Technical Committee on Biodiversity and principal author for BS42020, the course will focus on how to achieve effective ecological input at all five stages of the planning and development process.

The training will take participants through each section of the Standard using relevant case studies and scenarios and will really emphasise how users of BS42020 can refer to, and make use of it with confidence in a wide range of professional situations.

The day will be interactive and will allow for plenty of opportunity for discussion and to consider how it can be applied in situations identified by the participants.
