SMapcotland has a unique and distinctive landscape ranging from the UK’s highest mountains, through open uplands, ancient Caledonian forest and oak woods, to marine ecosystems, rugged coastlines and expansive beaches, contrasting with the heavily industrialised urban centres. The golden eagle and Scots pine are national icons, and many Scottish species and habitats are of national and international significance.  Scottish CIEEM members help to manage, conserve and enhance this important natural heritage. 

The Scottish Section committee is the longest running of the CIEEM Geographic Sections, formally established in 1998, and works to provide Scottish members with professional support. Follow the links below to find out how.
