JBA is a multi-disciplinary practice comprising three busy departments –ecology, landscape (both planning & design sections) and arboriculture. Whilst varied schemes are commissioned on a continuous basis, we specialise in residential, leisure, education, regeneration schemes (both urban and rural), green infrastructure and renewable energy schemes.

A great opportunity has arisen for ambitious and enthusiastic ecologist / senior ecologist to join the developing team at James Blake Associates.   Providing support to the Ecology team, whilst leading on a wide and interesting variety of projects, you’ll get great support, training and exposure. This role is a fantastic opportunity to realise your ambitions and join a growing team at an exciting time.

To be successful in the role we’d love to hear from individuals with the following profile:

  • BSc or equivalent qualification in Ecology, Biological Sciences or similar
  • At least 2 years post graduate experience in a similar or complimentary environment
  • UK Protected Species licence(s)
  • Membership of CIEEM
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Enthusiastic and positive personality with the ability to engage well with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Full UK driving licence
