Natural England consulting on Earned Recognition for bats

Natural England consulting on Earned Recognition for bats

22 Nov 2017

Natural England is currently gathering feedback on proposals for a new earned recognition initiative.

This initiative is at the scoping stages and the purpose of the below online survey is to gather initial feedback and gauge support from professional ecologists who work with bats and who apply for bat mitigation licences from Natural England.

The core partnership consists of Natural England, the Bat Conservation Trust (BCT), and the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM). Also involved is the Association of Local Government Ecologists (ALGE).

If this initiative is taken beyond the scoping stage, a further, more detailed consultation will be undertaken during project development.

The survey closes on 31 December 2017.
