Chartered Ecologist (CEcol)

If you want to join the Chartered Ecologist Register so you can use your knowledge, experience and influence to promote and advance ecology, then you’re in the right place. Our Chartered Ecologists are at the forefront of work to protect and enhance our natural environment.

Achieving Chartered status has enhanced clients’ confidence in my advice and supported my career progression. It has also been a personal source of pride.

Simon Boswell CEcol MCIEEM

The Membership Team at CIEEM gave fantastic support and guidance during the process and were really timely in their communication so I could keep up momentum with my application. The assessors conducting the interviews have been lovely and genuinely seemed to be looking to get the best out of me. My advice would be that if you have confidence in your ability and have a good range of evidence to support it, you should readily be able to demonstrate that effectively
